To join CSEM as a Diplomate, you must have successfully passed at least one of the College Diploma examinations
To gain CSEM Diplomate status, you must have successfully passed at least one diploma exam. The available diploma examinations are in Musculoskeletal Medicine, Exercise Medicine and Team Care
Overseas Diplomates are available to individuals who reside overseas who have successfully passed at least one of the three exams. Overseas Diplomates receive the same benefits as UK-based members, excluding voting rights and the print journals being an optional extra.
Cost: From £180 - £270 Annual Fee (dependant upon LMIC* status)
From £20 - £30 Monthly Fee (dependant upon LMIC* status)
*LMIC discounts are reduced rates offered to individuals based in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (as classified by the World Bank). The discount will be determined by the country in which the member is residing
Retired Diplomate Membership is awarded to fully qualified Diplomate members who have retired.
Cost: £100 Annual Fee or £8.33 Monthly Fee
As a CSEM Retired Diplomate Member, you keep your Diplomate status and post-nominals: DCSEM after retirement. Retaining professional recognition is important to CSEM as diplomates continue to engage with the wider SEM community even after retirement.
Retired Diplomates receive the same benefits as standard Diplomate members, excluding voting rights and the print journals being an optional extra.
