Undergraduate Membership at CSEM is for those completing an undergraduate degree related to sport, exercise and musculoskeletal medicine, offering early engagement with the specialty and its professional community.
Awarded to students in an undergraduate qualification in a subject related to sport, exercise and musculoskeletal Medicine.
Associate Membership at CSEM is ideal for those starting their career in sport, exercise and musculoskeletal medicine. It offers the chance to connect with other aspiring SEM professionals and explore areas across the specialty, from musculoskeletal practice and team care to supporting athletes in elite sport.
Awarded to professionals working in SEM; OR individuals working in a field closely allied to SEM.
SEM Resident Membership at CSEM is held by SEM doctors in Higher Specialty Training, recognising their progression along the specialty pathway in Sport and Exercise Medicine.
Awarded to SEM Residents on the Higher Specialty Training pathway in Sport and Exercise Medicine.
Diplomate Membership at CSEM recognises practitioners with proven specialist insight in sport, exercise and musculoskeletal medicine, offering a valued professional affiliation within our expert community.
Awarded to individuals who have passed a minimum of one of the College diploma examinations.
Fellowship with CSEM is a respected mark of distinction within sport, exercise and musculoskeletal medicine, recognising your advanced skills and experience across the field.
Awarded to individuals who have passed the CSEM Specialty Examinations and reside and work as a medical doctor outside the UK; not on the UK Specialist Register.
Membership of CSEM is a recognised professional achievement within sport, exercise and musculoskeletal medicine, reflecting your dedication to the specialty and your commitment to advancing high‑quality practice.
Awarded to individuals who have passed all three College diploma examinations (Musculoskeletal Medicine, Exercise Medicine and Team care).
Fellowship with CSEM is a respected mark of distinction within sport, exercise and musculoskeletal medicine, recognising your advanced skills and experience across the field.
Awarded to doctors who have gained CCT in Sport and Exercise Medicine and are on the GMC specialist register.
